When you receive an email invitation to join a folder created for you on Box, please click the “Accept Invite” link in the email. You will be directed to a login page to create your free account, if you don’t already have one. Please enter the information required to get your free account set up. Please keep your login information handy for future log-ins. Upon logging in after setup, you may be asked a question or two. This can be skipped by clicking the “Skip this and go straight to Box” link or “Continue” button toward the bottom of the page.


Once inside your account, you may see a folder with your name and/or your firm’s name but may first be required to accept some Terms of Service (there may be a prompt or notification at top of screen). Once accepted and upon clicking on that folder, you should be able to locate, view and download your files. If you don’t see any files/folder, try refreshing the page. There is also a search box at the top that may help you quickly locate a particular file.


IMPORTANT - IF YOU WANT TO BE NOTIFIED WHEN RECORDS ARE UPLOADED/AVAILABLE, PLEASE FOLLOW THE BELOW STEPS:

If you do not follow the below, you may not receive notifications when records are available.


  1. Upon logging in, please go to your account settings found in the top right corner by clicking on a small icon that should contain your initials or name. After clicking and seeing the drop-down box, click on “Account Settings.”

  2. Toward the top of your settings page, click on “Notifications.” Scroll to find “Email Notifications.” If you want to receive notification emails, make sure both boxes are checked next to “Uploads.” You may uncheck any other boxes in this section as they are usually not needed.

  3. Below “Email Notifications,” you’ll find “General Email and Notifications.” We recommend unchecking these boxes so you don’t receive unnecessary emails.

  4. Click on “Save Changes” button in the top right corner of the page. That’s it.

  5. To return to your folder of files, click on “All Files” on the far left side of the page toward the top.


PLEASE NOTE: It is possible emailed notifications may not reach you. Reasons could be notification emails from Box may be flagged as spam by your email client, may be blocked by your IT department, or the above steps were not followed to ensure notifications are set up properly. To be safe, we highly recommend logging into your account every so often to search for files you haven’t yet downloaded or received a notification for. If you feel you should have received some records already but didn’t receive a notification, please check your Box account. If the records aren’t there, feel free to email us for status.


To log into your account in the future, please click the Repository Login link in the top right corner of this page. Please bookmark the newly opened page for easy future access.
